I'm Jade. Alongside a 13-year career in healthcare, I look after children and pets for local families across the Fylde coast, with the patience, warmth and reliability you'd want from someone in your own home.

I've spent over a decade working with children and more than thirteen years in healthcare, so looking after people (and their pets) is second nature. I'm a non-smoker, I live locally, and I run Care by Jade around a job I take just as seriously.

We were nervous about leaving our twins with someone who wasn’t family. They can be hard work and aren’t the best with new people. Jade put us at ease with regular updates and let us enjoy our daughter’s prom. Reasonably priced too. Will definitely be seeing you again!

I was looking for a cat sitter for my new rescue cat and came across Care by Jade. She’s a very pleasant, caring and professional young lady. She did a fantastic job and they bonded lovely. I’ve now booked Jade on a regular basis.
Jade is dependable, trustworthy and professional. She looked after my 3-year-old and 1-year-old while I went to a wedding. A natural with children, she bonded with my child who has additional needs and who we can’t leave with many people. Such a relief.
Couldn’t recommend Jade enough! We have two dogs, one straightforward and one with multiple medical conditions who’s complex to look after. Jade took the time to meet us, learn all the meds and join me on a walk. She stayed at our home, which was perfect for our dogs.

I would 100% recommend Jade and will definitely be booking again! I was so worried about leaving my 4 dogs for 10 nights but Jade was really reassuring and sent regular updates and pictures. She got to know all of their personalities to a tee. Lovely to know they were in good hands.

Jade was highly recommended and straight away I could tell she was reliable, friendly and kind. Our collie is terrified of fireworks, but just after bonfire night Jade put him at ease and made sure he was comfortable throughout the night.
Jade stayed with our dog for 2 weeks whilst we were on holiday and went above and beyond for Daisy. Daisy must have been happy; she ran out of food and Jade had to buy more (she normally goes off her food when we’re away). Jade even dealt with a leaky roof while we were gone.
As a new mother with no family around and my husband working away, it’s daunting leaving your child with a stranger, but Jade makes the whole thing very easy. She’s just so genuinely nice, and I felt very comfortable with her in my home. She’s amazing with our big silly dog too.
I would 100% recommend Jade to anyone. She is so lovely and very welcoming. Jade took my dog for a walk and sent photos and updates throughout, keeping constant communication. My dog cannot wait to see her again.
We were quite nervous about using a babysitter, with two boys under 6 and unsure how it would go. But Jade arranged to meet us ahead of time, introduced herself and played with the kids. The boys love her and look forward to her coming round. She’s been a massive help.

Jade looked after our frenchie while we were out for the day, with a lovely walk and playtime in the garden. He really enjoyed her being there; we got pictures, videos and updates. Our home was looked after and locked up too.
Jade is a real sweetheart and my son gets super excited when I mention she’s coming to babysit. A parents’ night out with peace of mind our little man is in very safe hands. Would highly recommend.
